Key points
The common equity Tier 1 (CET1) capital ratio for the UK banking sector decreased by 0.1 percentage point on the quarter to 15.3%.
The level of CET1 capital increased by 1.2% on the quarter from £446bn to £451bn in Q3 2019.
There was a 2.1% increase in total risk-weighted assets on the quarter, from £2,896bn to £2,956bn.
