Bank of England OSCA to BEEDS - UAT & On-Boarding Survey
As we progress with migrating statistical reporting to BEEDS, we will require some additional information from each Firm and software vendor to assist in the on-boarding and testing phases.
We will be reaching out to all Firms shortly with a Key Survey link and password via email.
All surveys for all reporting Firms must be submitted by 5pm on Friday 29 October.
Some fields within the survey are mandatory. Please ensure you provide full answers for each question, including the Full Firm name (as currently used on OSCA), Electronic Reporter (OSCA) code, LEI (Non parent and UK based) and the Consolidation status for your reporting Firm.
Please note, you can only allocate one Principle User and up to nine Additional users per Firm.
A telephone number must be allocated for each and we recommend using a mobile telephone number, as a security code will be sent to the user allowing them to access BEEDS upon login. The contact details provided will be added to BEEDS as part of the on-boarding process, however, going forward the Principle User will be required to maintain all Additional Users for their Firm.
There is a separate SMMA Reporting ONLY section which should also be completed by all unconsolidated Firms. We are aware that the SMMA contacts may differ from our usual statistical contacts, so please provide the correct SMMA reporting contacts (one Principle User and up to 9 Additional users) ahead of the end-December 2021 reporting round.

Please note, if you report for multiple Firms and have multiple Electronic Reporting (OSCA) codes, you must complete separate surveys for each Firm / reporting code, using the same link and password found in the email.
We would also like to gauge interest in the first statistical reporting UAT window (details below) and which on-boarding phase you are planning to use to join BEEDS.
This information is required to ensure all statistical reporting Firms are set up on BEEDS for two fundamental stages.
Stage 1 - The statistical reporting UAT window scheduled for 15-26 November 2021.
Please confirm within the survey whether your Firm will be participating in this testing window by 5pm on Friday 29 October.
This will enable us to prepare accurate Firm details, User Account and Login information within BEEDS ahead of the UAT window. If confirmation is not received by 5pm on Friday 29 October your Firm will not be able to participate in this first UAT window on BEEDS.
If you are a software vendor and wish to participate in the November UAT window, please email OSCA Queries (osca.queries@bankofengland.co.uk ) to inform us by 5pm on Friday 29 October.
Stage 2 - The statistical reporting on-boarding phases.
- The 1st on-boarding phase is scheduled for March 2022, ready to report end-March data in April 2022.
- The 2nd on-boarding phase is scheduled for June 2022, ready to report end-June data in July 2022.
Please indicate within the survey which phase your Firm will be participating in. Early on-boarding is recommended.
