About the conference
Date: 29 April and 30 April 2024
On Monday 29 April and Tuesday 30 April 2024, we will hold our annual conference on the international spillovers of monetary policy, jointly organised with the Bank for International Settlements, the European Central Bank, and the International Monetary Fund. This year the conference will be hosted by the Bank for International Settlements in Basel.
This year’s topic is 'Ebb and flow of globalization: perspectives on the role of trade and financial integration for international spillovers'. The conference gathers theoretical and empirical contributions related to the international transmission of shocks, with a particular focus on the implications of global economic fragmentation and the respective roles of monetary, fiscal and macroprudential policies.
