Join us on Thursday 18 July from 5 to 8pm as we stay open late to celebrate all things archaeology! Dig into our collection with a table of special objects that tell a story of Roman Londinium. Plus, walk the route of the ‘lost’ River Walbrook with our museum team on a guided walking tour. 

All events are free.

The lost River Walbrook walking tour

At 5.45pm and 6.15pm

Trace the route of the River Walbrook, one of London’s subterranean rivers. Learn how the river was a key part of Roman life, and explore what sits atop the river today. 

This tour lasts approximately 1.5 hours and will travel around the City of London. Please ensure you were comfortable shoes and are dressed for the weather. 

The tours are free but booking is necessary.
